Position Overview

As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest receives a seamless and personalized experience from arrival to departure. You will play a key role in maintaining the property's reputation for excellence while fostering a culture of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Front Office department, including Reception, Reservations, Concierge, and Guest Services.
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction standards throughout the guest journey.
  • Coordinate VIP guest arrivals, special requests, and personalized guest experiences.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring effective service recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to optimize room inventory and service delivery.
  • Monitor departmental performance, staffing schedules, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure team members are trained, motivated, and aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
  • Promote local attractions, experiences, and hotel services to enhance guest engagement.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a hospitality professional who possesses:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory or management-level Front Office position within a luxury hotel, boutique property, or upscale resort.
  • A proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil will be an added advantage.
  • A Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
